Eton Walkway

Whether you’re here for a quick visit, the day or a longer stay – one of the best ways to explore Eton, and get a real insight into the towns rich heritage is to do the Eton Walkway.

This two mile / one hour circular walk connects 18 points of interest in the town starting at Windsor Bridge and celebrates Eton’s diverse community and fascinating history.

The Eton Visitor Information Centre, situated at 67 High Street, Eton (next door to Côte Brasserie on Windsor & Eton Bridge) will gladly help you plan your visit, and be able to provide you with a copy of the Eton Walkway Booklet.

Permanent bronze markers are set in the ground to identify the route of the Walkway and use Eton’s coat of arms, originally given to the town by King Henry VI in 1449.
