ACCESSIBILITY:

PUBLIC TOILETS:

Located behind the Eton Town Council Offices, halfway down the High Street.  (Head through the alleyway next to the offices, and through to Eton Court Car Park)

CASH MACHINE:

Sadly these days there is no bank branch anywhere in Eton and all banks and building societies have closed their branches in Winsor too, apart from Nationwide, which is located in William Street in Windsor. There is a cash machine (small fee) in Budgens supermarket on Eton High Street.

BUS STOPS:

The Bus Stop for local bus route 15, the Toot Bus and Golden Tours Hop On, Hop Off buses is located next to the Watermans Arms Pub on Brocas Street, Eton, just off the High Street.

PHARMACY:  

Eton Pharmacy (operated by Newdays, but the building is signed as C J Reid) is located at 30 High Street, Eton.  There are bigger pharmacies, including a large Boots over in Windsor, 10/15mins away.

SWANS / INJURED SWANS:

Eton’s Swan population are well loved and well cared for.   Please feed the swans with care, and keep dogs on leashes at all times.   Swan food is available to purchase from Premier Stores, next to Eton Visitor Information Centre, and from the ticket office at French Brothers Boats, on the river promenade.

If you see an injured or distressed Swan, please contact Swan Support, who are often in the area locally, and provide exact details and location.  The team will be happy to assist.  Call, for emergencies on 07968 868172.

COACH PARK:

There is no facility for coach parking in Eton, however Windsor has a large coach parking facility – which is just 10 mins walk through Alexander Gardens and over Windsor Bridge, into Eton on foot.

MOBILE PHONE REPAIRS:

There are a couple of mobile phone repair shops in Windsor – for current opening times and services, we recommend checking online.

PCR TESTING:

Please check online for current while-you-wait PCR testing locally, it is offered at local pharmacies – but timings and services will vary.

OFF LICENCE:

Budgens Supermarket, situated at 124 High Street, Eton are open late and have a good off-licence selection.   Premier Stores next to Eton Information Centre also sell a good range of essential items and are open some evenings.

LOST PROPERTY:

There is no formal lost property office in Eton, however most items do get handed in to the Porters Lodge at Eton College – 01753 370100, or into the Eton Visitor Information Centre.

MEDICAL CENTRES:

The closest A&E Department is at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough, SL2 4HL there is also a Walk-In Emergency Care Dept in Bracknell.
